In-N-Out has filed a trademark-infringement lawsuit against an American Fork, Utah, burger joint named Chadder’s, which is allegedly ripping off In-N-Out’s look and its menu, the Orange County Register reports. Judging by these YouTube clips, it would appear In-N-Out has a pretty good case:
“We will vigorously defend our trademarks and trade-dress against any and all copycats and imitators,” In-N-Out attorney Arnold M. Wensinger told the paper.
In-N-Out reportedly plans to open a Utah restaurant near St. George early next year. The privately owned chain filed a similar suit five years ago against a Texas outlet called Lightning Burgers.
